Triple Treats (DSH Tabbies) - Baby - Male/Female

The Triple Treats are a group of domestic short hair kittens who were born 3/13/18. They are very affectionate and would love nothing more than to take naps on your lap. All three came from Fort Defiance, AZ and were transported to Gallup, NM. United Animals Friends rescued them from the high-kill shelter.

They include:

- Angus – an orange tabby male

- Karley – a white female with tabby spots

- Fergus – a grey tabby male with white

They are special because they all have abnormal limb development called Tarsal Hyporeflexia. Their back legs have no tendons or ligaments so the legs are atrophied. These cats can live long and healthy lives and do just fine moving around. Some of these cats will evolve into walking on their front paws in a handstand format with bodies and tail pointed up. And some will just continue to move around like seals, with their back end swishing back and forth.

They have been given no special equipment as they need to strengthen the front legs and core muscles. They climb cat trees and furniture as any other cat. They jump from furniture as any other cat. They need a home that will embrace their difference but not do everything for them because of their difference.

The Triple Treats are current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and are altered.

Our adoption fee for one altered kitten (up to 1 year old) is $75 and for two altered kittens is $100 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues.
