Operation Roger

Operation Roger is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides transportation to animals in need. It was founded by truck driver Classy Lady in September 2005 after Hurricane Katrina left many animals homeless or separated from their owners. It is a unique group of kind-hearted, pet loving, volunteer over-the-road truck drivers who have become like family and discovered new friends. These drivers take the time and initiative to help rescue groups and individuals transport stranded, lost, abandoned, abused, or left-behind pets become united with their loving families in new protective homes Nationwide.

The Pet Fund

The Pet Fund is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit association that provides financial assistance to owners of domestic animals who need urgent veterinary care. Often animals are put down or suffer needlessly because their owners cannot afford expensive surgery or emergency vet visits. Companion animal owners must often make the difficult decision to put an animal down or neglect urgent medical needs because of the costs involved. The purpose of the Pet Fund is to work towards a future where decisions about companion animal medical care need never be made on the basis of cost.

United Animal Nations

The mission of LifeLine is to help homeless or recently rescued animals suffering from life-threatening conditions that require specific and immediate emergency veterinary care. We strive to serve Good Samaritans and rescue groups who take in sick or injured animals. In certain cases, LifeLine can also assist senior citizens and low-income families pay for immediate emergency veterinary care.

Spay/USA

SPAY/USA, a program of North Shore Animal League America, is a nationwide network and referral service for affordable spay/neuter services. Their goal is to make spay/neuter services affordable to those who might not otherwise spay/neuter their pets. By working together, they hope to popularize and facilitate spay/neuter services throughout the country and end pet overpopulation.

Orthodogs Silver Lining Foundation

Orthodogs' Silver Lining Foundation (OSLF) was created to serve as a place of hope for owners and/or caretakers of orthopedically challenged dogs. Their goal is to provide access to fundraising resources and to make emergency funds available for exceptional cases.

Silver's Cause, a unique fund created specifically for service dogs, will provide financial assistance for any medical problem that these special companions may face. Silver's Cause will help to ensure that the relationship between a disabled person and their partner will not be threatened by costly medical expenses.

Canine Cancer Awareness

CCA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting canine cancer. They help sponsor the veterinary costs of dogs diagnosed with cancer for those families in financial need who would not otherwise be able to afford treatment.

Feline Veterinary Emergency Assistance Program

The Feline Veterinary Emergency Assistance Program provides financial assistance to cat and kitten guardians who are unable to afford veterinary services to save their companions when life-threatening illness or injury strikes.

WestieMed, Inc.

WestieMed, Inc., is an all-volunteer, IRS-recognized non-profit corporation created to distribute financial aid to injured or ill rescue Westies.

Pit Bull Rescue Central

Pit Bull Rescue Central has a program to help qualified people with a Pit Bull or Pit Bull mix in need. They will help with medical needs as well as food and training.

Spay/Neuter Certificate Program UAF has a Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program with local veterinarians and mobile clinics. Financial Support When there is a true need, and funds allow, UAF helps those who cannot afford veterinary care. We work with some local vets who contact us when a low-income family is in need of financial support for spay/neuter or medical emergencies. A Pet Owner is unable to afford treatment and their sick or injured Companion Animal pays the price. If the owner is elderly, disabled or on a fixed income, the cost of care may be too much of a stretch for their pocketbook. Perhaps they have been victimized by crime, property loss or a job layoff and are experiencing a temporary financial hardship making it too difficult to afford pet care. And some animals, brought to clinics by Good Samaritans, don't have an owner to pay for treatment. Whatever the situation, the fact remains the same: When sick or injured animals are unable to receive veterinary care, they suffer. Through the AAHA Helping Pets Fund, veterinary care is possible for sick or injured pets even if they have been abandoned or if their owner is experiencing financial hardship. Angels 4 Animals Angels4Animals, a non-profit organization and a program of Inner Voice Community Services, has a mission to serve as the guardian angel of animals whose caretakers find themselves in difficult financial situations. At Angels4Animals we believe that animal owners should not have to say goodbye to the animals that they love. Our work is accomplished in conjunction with veterinary clinics across the country, eager to assist as many animals, and their owners, as possible.
