Penny (DLH Char. Gray & White Tuxedo) - Adult - Female

Penny is a pretty domestic long hair charcoal gray & white tuxedo female who was born 12/19/12. Once she gets to know you, she is very affectionate and loves to be petted. She will jump on your lap for attention. Penny was found by a good Samaritan in a culvert where she lived for 3 months and was taken to a vet for evaluation. She did have an ID chip and the owner was contacted, but the owner could not take her back.

Probably because of the trauma of her having to live outside on her own for 3 months before being rescued, she is defensive around other cats and dogs and would do best as an only pet. It is not known how she would do with children but a supervised introduction might be OK.

Penny is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and is spayed.

Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $60 and for two altered adult cats is $80 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues.
