~CL - Jack (Chihuahua) Small- Male

Jack is a handsome 6 lb, 12 year old Chihuahua.  He is a nervous and shy dog with a medium energy level.  He would do best in a quieter home without young children. In addition, Jack is small and could be considered a trip hazard for anyone with balance issues. A younger retired person with no other dogs would be ideal. He has been O.K. with cats. Jack is housetrained and good on a leash.  Due to the fact that his previous owners could no longer care for him, he is currently living at a veterinary clinic.  While the staff at the clinic love him, he would love to find a forever family where he could be loved and cared for for the rest of his life.

The veterinarian at the clinic where Jack is currently living requests that Jack be adopted out locally (in the Prescott, AZ area) so as to allow Jack continued veterinary care at this clinic in Prescott.  Aside from the fact that Jack does have a cataract, he is healthy.

Our adoption fee of $75.00 helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not ship our adoptables out of state and to ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
