Welcome to the United Animal Friends website, where you can learn about our mission, find adoptable dogs and cats, learn about our programs, donate, sign up to become a volunteer, check our calendar of events and more.

United Animal Friends is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that provides rescue programs and services to animals and those who care for them. We rescue adoptable cats and dogs from high-kill shelters and other high-risk situations and get them into a safe environment, usually a foster home, until they are adopted. Our primary goals include finding the best home for each animal in our care, reducing pet overpopulation through our spay/neuter programs, and improving the lives of animals in our community.

Please take a tour of our website to discover the many ways we help animals and people, and how you can be a part of our rescue mission.

  • We adopted Didi in September 2015.  I got her for my mom, but now she runs to greet me when I come home.  I am disabled and sort of lonely but she makes me feel so loved, I call her Jodie for the joy she radiates.

  • "I have worked for several years with United Animal Friends, they are an active member in our No More Homeless Pets Partnership. They work hard to find homes for their animals, taking advantage of every opportunity to introduce their animals to potential adopting families at the same time screening carefully to make sure each animal and family will work well together." - Diane Young, Best Friends Animal Society

  • "It is a GREAT organization!" - Mickey E.

  • "I feel good volunteering for such a great organization." - Christine W.
