Angus (Adopter or Permanent Foster) (DSH Tabby) - Young - Male

Angus is a domestic short hair orange tabby male with white who was born 3/13/18. He is very affectionate and would love nothing more than to take naps on your lap. He is a special needs kitties and is looking for a sympathetic adopter or for a permanent United Animal Friends foster person. As a permanent foster, UAF would assist with the costs of his continuing medical care.

He is special because he has abnormal limb development called Tarsal Hyporeflexia. His back legs have no tendons or ligaments so the legs are atrophied. These cats can live long and healthy lives and do just fine moving around. Some of these cats will evolve into walking on their front paws in a handstand format with bodies and tail pointed up. And some will just continue to move around like seals, with their back end swishing back and forth.

Angus uses the litter box appropriately. He climbs cat trees and furniture as any other cat. He jumps from furniture as any other cat. He needs a home that will embrace his difference but not do everything for him because of his difference.

He came from Fort Defiance, AZ and were transported to Gallup, NM. United Animals Friends rescued him from a high-kill shelter.

Angus is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and is neutered.

The amount of the adoption fee will be discussed. These fees help cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. There is no fee if they are taken as permanent fosters.
